Landscape Version Guide

XiaoBa Launcher User Guide

A step-by-step guide to the home screen, status bar, cards, bottom Dock, desktop settings, scene assistant, AC controls, app drawer, and Floating Dock.

Start Here

Check These First, or Some Buttons May Look Broken

Some XiaoBa Launcher features are ordinary desktop features, while others need vehicle system permissions. New users most often get stuck on permissions and system connection, so check this list first.

1

Confirm that your vehicle and system are supported by the landscape version, and that the head unit allows third-party apps.

2

On first launch, grant notification access, overlay permission, accessibility, and any other permissions requested by the app.

3

Open Desktop Settings > System & Connection and confirm the system connection status. Features that require ADB must show connected first.

4

Open Desktop Settings > Permission Management and check missing permissions before troubleshooting a feature.

5

After finishing your layout, export a backup from Desktop Settings > System & Connection > Desktop Config Backup.

6

Do not turn on every switch at once. First learn the home screen, app drawer, AC controls, and Floating Dock.

Key Terms

Terms Used Throughout This Guide

If this is your first car desktop launcher, read these terms first. Later sections use them repeatedly.

Desktop Home

The main screen you see after opening XiaoBa Launcher. The status bar is at the top, cards are in the middle, and the Home Dock is at the bottom.

Plugin / Card

A functional block in the middle of the desktop, such as Music, Navigation, Weather, App Container, Seat Memory, or TPMS.

Home Dock

The bottom control bar shown on the XiaoBa home screen. It is used for apps, AC controls, music, and floating map entry.

Floating Dock

A small floating control bar shown after you leave the XiaoBa home screen. It can return home, go back, open multitasking, and show Mini AC.

Overlay Permission

The permission that lets XiaoBa show map, lyrics, Dock, and other small windows above other apps. Floating Map and Floating Dock both rely on it.

ADB / System Connection

The connection state required by some system-level features. Cleaning apps, app protection, and whitelist writing usually need this connection first.

App Recommendations

A recommendation category in the app drawer for car-friendly apps. Download and install behavior can be disabled in Desktop Settings.

Desktop Config Backup

A tool for exporting, importing, or restoring your desktop configuration. Back up once after you finish setting cards, Dock, status bar, and appearance.

Screen by Screen

Learn Features by Screen Area

Each section first explains what the screen is for, then what each area does and what happens when you tap it.

Screen 01

Home Overview: Understand the Whole Screen First

When XiaoBa Launcher opens, first identify the top status bar, middle card area, right-side clock or map area, and bottom Home Dock. Most daily actions start from these four areas.

Interface Preview

Home Overview: Understand the Whole Screen First

1. Top status bar2. Middle card area3. Right clock / map4. Bottom Home Dock5. Wallpaper and marquee
1

Area A: Top Status Bar

The status bar shows vehicle and system state. Depending on your vehicle, it can show range, fuel, battery, cabin temperature, speed, RPM, gear, location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hotspot, volume, network speed, PM2.5, and outside temperature. G value and coolant temperature are not available as user-enabled items.

  1. To change what is shown, open Desktop Settings > Status Bar & Display > Status Bar Settings.
  2. To enter the screensaver, tap the time or date at the top.
  3. To adjust volume, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or similar items, tap the corresponding icon.
2

Area B: Middle Card Area

This is the main workspace. Music, navigation, weather, quick tools, app containers, TPMS, seat memory, and other features appear as cards. Cards can be swiped horizontally; you do not need to add everything at once.

Tip: For a fresh setup, keep Music, Navigation, and Quick Functions first. Add more cards after you know the basics.
3

Area C: Right Clock or Floating Map

The landscape layout uses the right side for a large clock, navigation guidance, or a floating map. During navigation this area may switch from clock to map or guidance, which is normal.

4

Area D: Bottom Home Dock

The bottom Dock is the most frequently used control bar. From left to right, the real order is: lower-left shortcut, vehicle controls, floating map, music area, app button, AC power, temperature slot, scrollable function area, and the edit button on the far right.

Note: Do not stare at the screen while driving to adjust settings. Put frequent actions in cards or the Dock ahead of time.
Screen 02

Top Status Bar: What Each Number and Icon Means

The top status bar concentrates vehicle state, time, date, and system connection indicators. Understanding it helps you quickly judge whether vehicle data, network, volume, and permissions are working.

Interface Preview

Top Status Bar: What Each Number and Icon Means

1. Vehicle state2. Date and time3. Gear4. Connection icons5. Air and temperature
1

Left: Range, Fuel, Battery, Cabin Temp, Speed, RPM

The left side mainly shows driving data. Fuel vehicles usually care about range, fuel, speed, and RPM. EV or hybrid models may show battery level. Some models can also show cabin temperature. Different models expose different data; unavailable values may show a dash or be hidden.

  1. Tap the fuel information to switch between percentage and liters when supported.
  2. If an item never appears, first confirm that it is enabled in Status Bar Settings.
  3. Do not enable every left-side item. The settings page will stop you when the limit is reached to avoid wrapping the bar to a second row.
  4. If all vehicle data is frozen, check system connection and vehicle compatibility.
2

Center: Date and Time

The center shows time. Date and seconds can be enabled in Status Bar Settings. Tapping time or date enters screensaver mode, useful while parked and helpful for reducing burn-in from fixed content.

3

Right: Gear, Location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, Volume, Network, Air

The right side focuses on system and environment state. Gear shows driving state. Location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and hotspot show connection state. Volume opens quick media control. Network speed, PM2.5, and outside temperature can also be enabled.

Tip: If tapping an icon does nothing, check Permission Management first. Some system actions are also limited by the vehicle system.
4

Customizable Items, Colors, Capsule Background, Blur

Open Desktop Settings > Status Bar & Display > Status Bar Settings to enable or disable range, fuel, speed, RPM, cabin temperature, outside temperature, gear, PM2.5, network speed, volume, location/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/hotspot, date, and seconds. You can also adjust text color, capsule background, and blur.

Screen 03

Middle Card Area: Use, Add, and Remove Cards

The middle card area is the desktop workspace. Music, navigation, weather, quick tools, vehicle information, and frequent apps can all live here.

Interface Preview

Middle Card Area: Use, Add, and Remove Cards

1. Card title2. Card buttons3. Swipe4. Drag to reorder5. Add / remove
1

Cards Are Arranged Horizontally

Swipe left and right through the card area. Put frequent cards near the front and occasional cards later. Once a feature is on a card, you do not need to open the app drawer every time.

2

Recommended Starter Cards

New users should start with Music, Navigation, Quick Functions, Weather, and App Container. Later you can add AC Status, AC Quick Switch, Seat Memory, 360 Camera, TPMS, Fuel Consumption, Driving Mode, Passenger Seat, HUD Mode, Bluetooth Audio, and lightweight cards such as Wooden Fish, What to Eat, and Where to Go.

3

Removing and Editing Is Safe

The current middle card area does not remove cards by long press. To remove a card, tap the far-right edit button on the Home Dock to enter the card selection page, then tap an already-added preset card or app card. Cards can be dragged to reorder, and some cards have their own edit buttons or long-press sub-actions.

Tip: Removing a card does not uninstall the app. It only hides that shortcut from the desktop, and you can add it back later.
4

App Container Is for Frequent Apps

The App Container can hold multiple apps inside one card. Navigation, music, tools, and community apps can go there to reduce the number of separate cards.

Screen 04

Music Card: Playback, Source Switching, and Floating Lyrics

The Music card controls playback, switches sources, and displays lyrics. The music area in the bottom Dock also reflects the current song.

Interface Preview

1. Source switch2. Play / pause3. Previous / next4. Lyrics button5. Floating lyrics
1

Desktop Music Card

The Music card shows current playback information and provides play, pause, previous, and next controls. It tries to read song title, artist, and cover art from the current music app.

2

Source Switching

The top-right corner usually contains a source switcher for choosing between music apps. After setting a default music app, restart XiaoBa Launcher as prompted so it uses that source first.

  1. Open Desktop Settings > Apps & Features > Default Music App.
  2. Choose your most used music app.
  3. If you do not want a music app to appear, hide it from sources. Use Restore Hidden Music Apps to bring it back.
3

Open the Music Floating Window

Tap the Music card, or tap the bottom Dock music area with the default single-tap action, to open or close the music floating window. It can show cover art, song info, lyrics, and controls. The bottom music area also has independent gestures: double tap opens the current music app, long press switches to the fan-speed bar, and horizontal swipe changes tracks.

4

Floating Lyrics

Tap the Lyrics button on the Music card or floating window to show or hide desktop floating lyrics. Long press the Lyrics button to enter Lyrics Desktop. On the floating lyrics themselves, single tap adjusts style, double tap enters Lyrics Desktop, and triple tap closes the lyrics.

Note: Floating lyrics require overlay permission. If lyrics do not appear, check permissions first and then whether the music app provides lyric data.
Screen 06

Bottom Home Dock: Learn It from Left to Right

The Home Dock is the most frequently used control bar in the landscape version. The real order is lower-left shortcut, vehicle controls, floating map, music area, app button, AC power, temperature slot, scrollable function area, and far-right edit.

1

1. Lower-left Shortcut / System Desktop Button

The far-left item is the lower-left shortcut. By default, single tap returns to the original vehicle desktop, double tap restarts XiaoBa Launcher, and long press opens a random game. These actions can be changed to open an app, multitasking, Desktop Settings, floating map, hide cards, or do nothing.

  1. Path: Desktop Settings > Lower-left Button Shortcut Settings. This controls the far-left Home Dock button, not the floating bottom bar button.
2

2. Vehicle Controls

Single tap the vehicle icon to open vehicle controls. Long press it to enter Scene Assistant. This is in the fixed left area and is not part of the scrollable function buttons.

3

3. Floating Map

The floating-map button sits to the right of vehicle controls. Single tap opens the Map Music page. Long press opens the floating-map selector directly.

4

4. Music Area

The music area shows cover art, song title, artist, and play/pause. The play button controls playback. By default, tapping the music area opens or closes the music floating window, double tap opens the current music app, long press switches to the fan-speed bar, and horizontal swipe changes tracks. These gestures can be customized in Dock editing.

5

5. App Button

The app button opens the app drawer. You can also swipe up from the desktop, but the button is clearer and less likely to be triggered by mistake.

6

6. AC Power and Temperature Slot

The AC power button toggles AC by default, and long press can open the original AC app. The temperature slot usually shows a slider. Tap the small dot on the left of the slider to switch S / L / R: Sync, Driver, Passenger. The AC power slot and both temperature halves can be replaced in Dock editing with 360, Desktop Settings, one-tap mute, or a chosen app.

7

7. Scrollable Function Area

The area to the right of the temperature slot is scrollable. The default order includes AC, AUTO, fan speed, recirculation, ECO, driver heat, passenger heat, driver ventilation, passenger ventilation, AC MAX, front defrost, rear defrost, face, feet, window, driver massage, passenger massage, steering wheel heat, rear temperature lock, fragrance, G-Clean, and trunk. The number of buttons per page depends on Dock size, and user edits can change the order.

8

8. Far-right Edit Button

The far-right edit button has several actions. Single tap opens the Add Cards page, double tap opens AC mode quick switch, and long press enters Dock editing mode.

Note: The edit button has many actions. If you enter a mode by mistake, tap empty space or the close button to return.
9

Long Press Edit: Organize the Dock

After long pressing the edit button, you can adjust buttons and frequent apps in the scrollable area. You can also configure the AC power slot, left and right temperature slots, music gestures, Dock background, and blur. Put truly frequent actions on the first page.

Tip: Start by changing only one or two items. After confirming they are useful, continue adjusting. Too many changes become hard to remember.
Screen 07

AC Area: Power, Temperature, Fan, and Seat Controls

The AC area places common climate controls at the bottom, including power, temperature, fan, modes, seats, fragrance, and trunk.

Interface Preview

AC Area: Power, Temperature, Fan, and Seat Controls

1

AC Power

The power icon turns AC on or off. In some versions, long press opens the system AC app for detailed original-vehicle controls.

2

S / L / R Temperature Mode

S means driver and passenger temperatures are synced. L adjusts the driver side. R adjusts the passenger side. The small dot on the left of the temperature slider cycles S -> L -> R -> S.

Tip: If you are not sure which side you are adjusting, check the letter first. S is simplest; L/R is for separate driver and passenger settings.
3

Temperature Slider

Swipe the temperature area left or right to adjust. Holding the slider for about half a second shows an enlarged temperature control for clearer visibility. You can also switch to left/right temperature buttons in Dock editing.

4

Scrollable Function Area

The AC function area can be swiped horizontally. The current default set can include AC, AUTO, fan, recirculation, ECO, AC MAX, front/rear defrost, face, feet, window, rear temperature lock, G-Clean, fragrance, steering wheel heat, seat heat, seat ventilation, seat massage, and trunk. SYNC is not a separate Home Dock button; temperature sync is handled by S/L/R mode. Dock editing can also add frequent apps to the bottom bar.

Note: High-risk actions such as trunk usually show a second confirmation. Do not confirm casually while driving.
5

AC Quick Modes

Double tap the edit button to open AC mode quick switch. You can switch to Sleep, Summer, Dehumidify, Fast Cooling, or a custom mode with one tap.

Screen 08

App Drawer: Find, Pin, Uninstall, and Search Apps

The app drawer is used to find, open, pin, uninstall, and search apps. It also shows App Recommendations, My Apps, Local Apps, System Apps, and All Apps categories.

Interface Preview

1

Open and Close

Tap the app button in the bottom Dock, or swipe up from the home screen, to open the app drawer. Swipe down from the top close area, or usually press Back, to close it.

2

Category Bar

The drawer groups apps by category: App Recommendations, My Apps, Local Apps, System Apps, and All Apps. If no apps are pinned, it may start from Local Apps.

Tip: To hide recommendation downloads, open Desktop Settings > Apps & Features > App Recommendation Download and disable it.
3

Search Box

When there are many apps, type an app name or package keyword into the search box. Results are paginated again. Clear the search to return to the current category.

4

App Grid

Tap an app icon to open it. If there are many apps, they are split into pages. The dots at the bottom show the current page, and swiping changes pages.

5

Double Tap to Pin

Double tap an app icon to add or remove it from My Apps. My Apps appears first and is good for navigation, music, settings, app manager, and other frequent entries. Recommended apps cannot be pinned until they are installed as real apps.

6

Long Press to Uninstall

Long press an app icon to start uninstall flow, usually with a confirmation dialog. Recommended apps do not directly uninstall this way. System apps and core vehicle apps should not be removed unless you are sure.

Note: Do not uninstall apps you do not understand, especially system, vehicle, map, account, Bluetooth, voice, and AC-related apps.
7

Recommended App Download

The App Recommendations category loads recommended apps from the cloud. Tapping one may download, install, or open it depending on state. Downloading and installing require storage and unknown-app installation permissions.

Screen 09

Add Cards: Choose Preset Cards or Installed Apps

The Add Cards page places built-in cards or installed apps on the desktop, so frequent features do not require opening the app drawer.

Interface Preview

1

Where to Open It

Tap the far-right edit button on the Home Dock to open the Add Cards entry. Related add functions may also be reached from Desktop Settings or the Quick Functions card.

2

Preset Cards

Preset cards are built-in XiaoBa cards such as Music, Navigation, Clock, Weather, App Container, Quick Functions, AC Status, AC Quick Switch, Seat Memory, 360 Camera, Wooden Fish, What to Eat, Where to Go, TPMS, Fuel Consumption, Driving Mode, Passenger Seat, HUD Mode, and Bluetooth Audio.

3

Installed Apps

The Installed Apps tab turns a single app into a desktop shortcut card. It is best for an app you open often but do not need inside a full App Container.

4

Confirm the Card Was Added

After adding, return to the middle card area and swipe left or right. If you do not see the new card, check later pages first, then confirm whether the card already exists or the feature is limited by your vehicle.

5

Remove a Card

On the Add Cards page, tap an already-added preset or app card again to remove it from the desktop. This only removes the desktop entry and does not uninstall the app.

Controls how the interface looks: font size, custom font, wallpaper, card opacity, card blur, card size, and desktop corner radius.

2

Status Bar & Display

Controls the top status bar and display effects, including status bar items, screen marquee, effect color, flow speed, global display, and related display settings.

3

Apps & Features

Controls the bridge between apps and desktop features: recommendation downloads, Floating Dock, bottom bar size, original Dock controls, restore hidden music apps, default music, default map, navigation guidance, Floating Map music status bar, floating map corner style, and map theme sync.

4

System & Connection

Contains system-level abilities: system connection, system mount, split-screen whitelist, bottom bar whitelist, My Car, desktop config backup, permission management, default desktop, two lower-left button settings, startup, Launcher3 warm-up, startup floating map, welcome page, autostart, holiday easter eggs, Scene Assistant, activation, restart, help, updates, beta, and uninstall.

Tip: When a feature fails, new users should check Permission Management and System Connection first. Appearance issues belong in Appearance.
Screen 11

Appearance Settings: Wallpaper, Opacity, Size, and Corners

Appearance Settings adjust visual presentation, including fonts, wallpaper, opacity, blur, card size, and desktop corner radius.

Interface Preview

Appearance Settings: Wallpaper, Opacity, Size, and Corners

1. Font size2. Custom font3. Wallpaper4. Card opacity5. Card blur6. Card size7. Desktop corners
1

Font Size and Custom Font

If text is too small or too large, adjust font size first. Custom fonts are for users who want a unified visual style; new users can keep the default font.

2

Wallpaper Settings

Wallpaper supports built-in wallpapers, custom images, video wallpapers, and animated wallpapers. Custom images are stable. Video and animation look better but may use more performance. Map wallpaper configuration is no longer a regular entry.

  1. Start with a built-in static wallpaper and confirm the desktop is stable.
  2. Then try custom images or animated wallpapers.
  3. If the desktop becomes slow, return to a static wallpaper and reduce opacity or blur effects.
3

Card Opacity

Opacity affects readability. Lower values make cards more transparent and the wallpaper more visible. Higher values make cards calmer and text easier to read.

4

Card Blur and Size

Blur makes the interface more translucent, but some devices may feel performance pressure. Card size adapts to different resolutions and viewing distances.

5

Desktop Corner Radius

Desktop corners simulate a visual boundary that fits the vehicle screen. Enable it and adjust the radius when the screen has dark corners or you want a more integrated look.

Screen 12

Status Bar & Display: Status Bar, Marquee, and Effects

Status Bar & Display controls the top status bar, screen marquee, flowing effects, music-follow effects, and global display behavior.

Interface Preview

1. Status bar settings2. Screen marquee3. Effect color4. Flow speed5. Flow mode6. Global display7. Status bar color
1

Status Bar Settings

This decides which information appears at the top. Options include range, fuel, speed, RPM, cabin temperature, outside temperature, gear, PM2.5, network speed, volume, location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hotspot, date, and seconds. G value and coolant temperature are not available as enableable display items. New users should keep at least time, range/fuel, gear, volume, and network status.

2

Screen Marquee

The marquee is a flowing edge-light effect around the screen and can also follow music rhythm. It is visual only and does not affect core features.

Note: If it distracts you at night, turn it off or reduce brightness and speed.
3

Global Display

Global Display overlays some effects above other apps. If it interferes with maps or videos, return here and turn it off.

4

Status Bar Color and Transparency

Status Bar Settings also adjust text color, gradient text, capsule background, blur, and transparency. The Home Dock far-left button path is Desktop Settings > Lower-left Button Shortcut Settings. The floating bottom bar far-left button path is Desktop Settings > Floating Bottom Bar Lower-left Button Shortcut Settings. They are not inside Status Bar Settings.

Screen 13

Apps & Features: Recommendations, Floating Dock, Default Music and Map

Apps & Features controls how XiaoBa Launcher works with other apps, including recommendations, Floating Dock, bottom bar size, default music, default map, navigation guidance, floating map status bar, and original Dock controls.

Interface Preview

1. App recommendations2. Floating Dock3. Bottom bar size4. Original Dock control5. Default music6. Default map7. Navigation guidance8. Theme sync
1

App Recommendation Download

When enabled, the app drawer shows App Recommendations and allows recommended apps to be downloaded or installed. When disabled, the recommendation entry is folded or shown only as information, useful when you do not want new users to install apps by mistake.

2

Floating Dock

Controls whether the Floating Dock appears after leaving the XiaoBa home screen. Users who switch between map, music, and browser often should keep it on.

3

Bottom Bar Size

If the Dock is too large, blocks content, or is too small to tap, adjust the bottom bar size here. This affects the Home Dock and related bottom buttons.

4

Original Vehicle Dock Control

Different vehicles have different original Dock or side-bar controls, such as Lynk & Co 01/03/05/09, Xingyue L, and 2021-2023 Xingyue L. Enable only the switch that matches your vehicle. If you want the original Dock to remain on the system desktop, enable the option to not auto-hide it on the system desktop.

Note: Do not enable multiple vehicle Dock controls when you are unsure. Wrong settings can confuse the original Dock display logic.
5

Default Music and Default Map

Default Music decides which app the Music card controls first. Default Map decides which map the Navigation card uses first. Restart XiaoBa Launcher after setting and then test. The Map Music page also has its own floating-map selector. Hidden music apps can be restored through Restore Hidden Music Apps.

6

Navigation Guidance, Floating Map Status Bar, and Theme Sync

Navigation Guidance controls route hints on the desktop. Floating Map Music Status Bar can show music or status information above the map. Floating Map Corner Style adjusts corner controls. System Theme Sync lets Amap follow the system or XiaoBa day/night theme.

Screen 14

System & Connection: Permissions, ADB, Backup, Activation, and Updates

System & Connection is the most important troubleshooting group. Permissions, ADB/system connection, system mount, whitelists, backups, default desktop, startup behavior, activation, and updates are here.

1

System Connection

Shows whether XiaoBa is connected to required system abilities. If background cleaning, app protection, whitelists, some casting, or system controls fail, check this first.

2

System Mount

System Mount prepares the environment for some low-level features. Ordinary users do not need to tap it frequently. Check it with System Connection when whitelist or system-write features fail.

3

Permission Management

This is the first stop for new users. Missing notification access, overlay, accessibility, or background permissions can make a feature look normal but do nothing when tapped.

4

Split-screen Whitelist and Bottom Bar Whitelist

These write installed apps into system allow-lists to reduce problems where split screen cannot open or the bottom bar does not show. System connection is usually required.

5

My Car

Sets owner nickname, fuel tank capacity, and related information. Nickname may be used for startup greetings, and tank capacity can affect some fuel/range display logic.

6

Desktop Config Backup

After setting cards, wallpaper, Dock, and status bar, export a backup. It makes recovery easier after reinstalling, upgrading, or changing settings by mistake.

7

Default Desktop and Startup Behavior

New users should not change the default desktop casually. Startup delay is useful on some vehicles; Lynk & Co 09 can use the suggested 7-second setting. Launcher3 warm-up, startup floating map, welcome page, and autostart blocking are all startup behavior settings. Restart the desktop after changing them.

8

Two Lower-left Button Settings

Lower-left Button Shortcut Settings controls the far-left Home Dock button: default single tap returns to the original desktop, double tap restarts XiaoBa, and long press opens a random game. Floating Bottom Bar Lower-left Button Settings controls the far-left button on the floating bottom bar after leaving the home screen: default single tap returns to XiaoBa, double tap restarts the current app, and long press opens multitasking.

9

Scene Assistant: Sound, Automation, HUD, and Dashboard

Scene Assistant is not a single switch. It groups Auto Comfort Scene, Gear Sound, Door Sound, Autostart Management, HUD Config, and Dashboard Config.

10

Activation, Updates, Beta, and Uninstall

Activation shows remaining time, activation code, VIN, and related information. Check Updates confirms whether a new version exists. Do not enable beta if you prefer stability. Uninstalling XiaoBa Launcher clears settings and data, so do it only when you are sure you want to return to the original system desktop.

Screen 15

Scene Assistant: Sound Effects, Auto Comfort, HUD, and Dashboard

Scene Assistant centralizes sound prompts, startup apps, comfort automation, HUD, and dashboard display. It is an advanced feature; understand each entry before enabling it.

Interface Preview

1

Where to Enter

The regular path is Desktop Settings > System & Connection > Scene Assistant. You can also long press the vehicle icon in the Home Dock. Single tap on that icon opens vehicle controls; long press enters Scene Assistant.

2

Auto Comfort Scene

Auto Comfort Scene automatically performs comfort actions when shifting into D or when ignition starts. Choose one trigger first: D-gear trigger and ignition trigger are mutually exclusive. Then configure AC, seat heat, seat ventilation, seat massage, steering wheel heat, 360 turning view, and sunshade as needed.

Tip: New users should enable one trigger and one or two actions first. Add more after confirming the behavior.
3

Winter Guard

Winter Guard is inside Auto Comfort Scene. It can turn off AC when the heater is opened and sync dual-zone temperature, useful for restoring winter heating behavior. If AC behavior feels wrong, check this switch first.

4

Gear Sound

Gear Sound assigns prompts to P, R, N, and D. After enabling it, open the detail page to choose sounds for each gear and adjust volume. It only plays sound prompts and does not change gear or vehicle control behavior.

Note: Loud prompts can distract driving. Test at low volume first, and consider setting only R or D until you are sure.
5

Door Sound

Door Sound plays a prompt when a door opens. The detail page can set separate sounds for driver, passenger, left rear, and right rear doors. It also lets you choose notification or media output channel, volume, and a 0-3 second delay. Lynk & Co 01/03/05 (OSN 2.0)/09 and 2024-2025 Xingyue L have model-specific signal switches; enable only the one matching your vehicle.

Note: If there is no door sound, check the model signal switch, output channel, and volume. Do not enable multiple model switches randomly.
6

Autostart Management

Autostart Management starts selected apps after boot. Enable the switch, tap Add App, select apps, and set a delay from 0 to 30 seconds. Some head units only sleep after power-off and do not really reboot; in that case, try Run Autostart Tasks on Wake.

Tip: Do not add too many autostart apps. Navigation, music, and vehicle tools are reasonable; low-frequency apps should not autostart.
7

HUD Config

HUD Config opens the HUD configuration center for lyrics, navigation icons, navigation text, traffic lights, and layout. It is for users already using HUD, dashboard casting, or related display windows. If you do not use HUD, there is no need to change it immediately.

8

Dashboard Config

Dashboard Config adjusts the top display content of the dashboard. Saving refreshes the dashboard: enabled means shown, disabled means hidden. It can also manage dashboard lyrics and persistent display effects for users who want lyrics or navigation info in the dashboard area.

Screen 16

Floating Dock: Home, Back, Multitasking, and Mini AC Outside the Home Screen

Floating Dock provides global controls after you leave the XiaoBa home screen. In map, music, or other apps, it can return home, go back, open multitasking, or adjust Mini AC.

1

When It Appears

Floating Dock replaces or supplements the system Dock. It is usually hidden while the foreground is XiaoBa home. It appears after entering other apps. It may semi-hide after inactivity or collapse into a small strip when dragged to the edge.

2

Home Button

Tap Home to return to XiaoBa Launcher at any time. Long press Home usually lets you drag the whole Floating Dock and snap it to a screen edge.

3

Floating Bottom Bar Lower-left Shortcut

If you see a floating bottom bar similar to the Home Dock, its far-left button supports single tap, double tap, and long press customization. Defaults are return to XiaoBa, restart current app, and multitasking. The small Floating Dock home button is tap to return XiaoBa and long press or drag to move the floating bar.

4

Back and Multitasking

Back is system Back. Multitasking opens the system recent-apps screen. Use these first when an app is stuck or when you want to switch apps.

5

Size Adjustment

Adjust Floating Dock and Mini AC bubble sizes. Make them larger when the screen is big or far away; make them smaller when they block the map.

3

Color and Border

Button color and border color improve recognition. Keep high contrast and avoid making icons too close to the background color.

Add Frequent Apps

Put frequent apps on the Floating Dock. Tap a selected app to remove it from the Floating Dock. Keep only 3-5 truly frequent apps.
