XiaoBa Launcher Feature Docs

This page is a fast English overview. For the step-by-step landscape operation manual, use the detailed guide linked below.

Before First Use

Confirm that your vehicle and head unit version are supported before installing.

Grant notification access, overlay permission, accessibility, and any permission requested by the app.

Open Desktop Settings > Permission Management when a floating window, Dock, lyrics, or vehicle feature does not work.

Home Screen Structure

The landscape home screen is made of four major areas: top status bar, middle card workspace, right clock or map area, and bottom Home Dock.

Most daily actions start from cards or the Dock, so new users should understand these areas before changing advanced settings.

Status Bar

The status bar can show time, date, range, fuel, battery, cabin temperature, speed, RPM, gear, location, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hotspot, volume, network speed, PM2.5, and outside temperature when supported by the vehicle.

Change visible items from Desktop Settings > Status Bar & Display > Status Bar Settings.

Cards and Plugins

Cards are swipeable functional blocks. Common cards include Music, Navigation, Weather, Quick Functions, App Container, AC Status, Seat Memory, TPMS, Driving Mode, HUD Mode, and Dashboard-related cards.

Use the far-right edit button on the Home Dock to add, remove, or reorder cards. Removing a card does not uninstall the app.

Home Dock

From left to right, the real Home Dock order is: lower-left shortcut, vehicle controls, floating map, music area, app button, AC power, temperature slot, scrollable function area, and far-right edit button.

The Home Dock lower-left shortcut is changed from Desktop Settings > Lower-left Button Shortcut Settings. It is not the same item as the floating bottom bar shortcut.

AC Controls

The Dock can control AC power, temperature, fan speed, circulation, ECO, AC MAX, defrost, seat heating, ventilation, massage, fragrance, steering wheel heating, and other model-dependent functions.

The S / L / R temperature modes mean Sync, Driver, and Passenger. Tap the small dot near the temperature slot to switch modes.

Desktop Settings

Desktop Settings is where you tune appearance, wallpapers, status bar, Dock, cards, apps, permissions, system connection, backup, startup behavior, default map, default music, and updates.

After finishing a layout, export a Desktop Config Backup so reinstalling or changing versions is much safer.

Floating Dock

After you leave the XiaoBa home screen, the floating Dock can appear above other apps for home, back, multitasking, notifications, Mini AC, and quick app actions.

Overlay permission is required. If it does not show, check permission management first.

Scene Assistant, HUD, and Dashboard

Scene Assistant includes gear sound, door sound, auto comfort scene, HUD configuration, and dashboard configuration. Open it from Desktop Settings > System & Connection > Scene Assistant, or long press the vehicle icon in the Home Dock.

Sound settings cover trigger, output channel, volume, delay, and model-specific signals. HUD and dashboard settings manage display content such as lyrics, navigation, and always-on behavior when supported.
